This class will give your little dancer a basic introduction to ballet, jazz steps, and positions, while enhancing their motor skills and coordination with fun exercises in music qualities and rhythms, storytelling with movement, and free dance with various props.

Does your child have a passion for the stage?  This class is a great place to start where everyone gets to sing, act, and dance.  They prepare and perform scenes, solos, and group songs with choreography.  This class performs twice in the semester. (MidSemester and End of Semester Recitals)

This class is the place for kids who love to make some noise!  Introducing rhythms in movement is key for our tiny tappers!  They will learn the four directions of movement, shuffles, ball changes, brush backs, side chases, jazz squares and much more, all while dancing to various fun and high energy styles of music.

This class introduces students to the exciting world of stage movement, formations, and basic partnering dance that are used in musical theater productions.  Students will develop coordination, rhythm, stage presence, teamwork, and performance skills while learning how to move confidently in groups and with partners. Class will focus on formations, transitions, storytelling through movement, and beginner partner work in a fun energetic, and encouraging environment.

This class is the place for the kids who love to be on the stage.  This class will create characters, memorize lines, sing solos, and sing and dance in large ensemble numbers.  This class will also learn stage direction, improvisation,  the beginning of costuming, and helping to come up with their own choreography.  This class performs twice a semester. This class focuses on speed, clarity, rhythm, and performance quality. Students will work on complex combinations, syncopations, turns, across-the-floor progressions, and advanced tap tricks and vocabulary. This class will emphasize clean sounds, musical timing, weight changes, improvisation, and then ability to perform challenging choreography with confidence and style.

This class is for our highly advanced high schoolers who are getting ready for college auditions or those with 4 or more years of dance training.  Combinations found in this class will include; single, double and triple pirouettes, advanced articulations in footwork, leaps, jumps, tricks, quick direction changes, and demonstration of flexibility, technique, and style.

This class is recommended for students with 0-3 years of dance experience. The combinations often include basic arm styling, demonstration of rhythm, physical coordination, jazz squares, chassés in all directions, introductions to single pirouettes, and storytelling through fun high energy Musical Theater combinations set to upbeat songs from popular musicals.

The Chamber Strings Group Class is designed for advanced beginner to intermediate string students who want to strengthen ensemble skills in a supportive and engaging environment. Students improve rhythm, tone quality, musicality, note reading, and group performance techniques while learning to play confidently with other musicians. Repertoire includes classical, cinematic, contemporary, and fun ensemble pieces that continue building technique and performance ability.

Lights is an auditioned sing and dance performing group for 7th-12th graders with several outside community events and performances during the semester.  It meets twice a week from 8-9 pm.  Audition material will be out July 1st with auditions Tuesday August 4th 8-9 pm. 

This group has a $50 costume fee.

This class focuses on foundational technique, introducing basic terminology, posture, and alignment in a nurturing, structured environment.  Sessions begin with structure exercises at the barre (e.g., pliés, tendus, etc.)to build strength, followed by simple, slow-paced movements in the center, such as basic port de bras (arm positions) and small jumps.

This class focuses on basic tap patterns, such as; flaps, shuffles, weight shifts, spanks, cramp rolls, buffalos, single times steps, and 3-point turns.  They are introduced to our basic dance principles of posture, poise, pitch, and position.  We teach this with fun upbeat very rhythmic music in a fun environment!

The Tap Fundamentals Class is designed for students ages 12–18 who want to build a strong foundation in tap dance. Students learn essential tap vocabulary, rhythm, timing, coordination, and footwork while developing musicality and performance confidence. Class focuses on proper technique, clarity of sounds, balance, and combining steps into fun and energetic combinations. This class is great for beginners or dancers wanting to strengthen their tap basics in a positive and encouraging environment

Musical Theater Formation Dance builds up foundational stage movements and partnering skills while introducing more challenging choreography, formations, transitions, and performance techniques commonly used in musical theater productions.  Students will strengthen timing, coordination, musicality, stage presence, and teamwork through dynamic group work and intermediate-level partner dancing.

This class is a fun energetic class designed for adults who want to get back into tap dancing or continue to build their tap skills. Dust off those old tap shoes and jump in. Some previous tap experience is recommended, even if it has been years. We will work on rhythm, timing, coordination, musicality, and progression lay more challenging combinations in a supportive and encouraging environment. End of Semester

This class strengthens technical foundations while building speed, control, and complexity.  Dancers work on advanced barre combinations, cleaner pirouettes, musicality, adagio control, and more challenging traveling steps like ‘pas de basque’, ‘chainés’, and piqué’ turns.  Throughout class, dancers continue refining placement, turnout, and smooth, connected movement.

This class builds from the foundations of Tap Fundamentals or Tap Kids.  Adding in patterns such as double and triple time steps, paradiddles, drawbacks, introduction to pullbacks, various tap turns, and across the floor combinations with triplets and sixteenth note rhythms.  Focusing on principles of posture, poise pitch, and position. This class is not suitable for a student with no tap experience. 

All classes have a $30 costume fee for their End of Semester Recital.

This Intermediate Musical Theater combo class is recommended for students with 2 or more years of Musical Theater Dance training or dancers currently in a dance class at an intermediate level.  The combinations often include single pirouettes, direction changes, syncopations in rhythms, and demonstration of flexibility, technique and style. This is a fun upbeat fast learning class, dancing to popular MT songs. 

All classes have a $30 costumes fee for their End of Semester Recital.

REGISTER

This class is for students with 3 or more years of tap experience recommended. Pull backs, wings, toe stands, all time steps, turns, tricks, etc.  Detailed work on posture, poise, pitch, and position.  Multiple turns, intricate across the floor patterns, and combinations to perform that build off of the techniques learned in class. 

All classes have a $30 costumes fee for their End Of Semester Recital.
